History
Dalmatian originates from Yugoslavia and was bred originally for watchdog, herding, ratter, bird dog, trail hound, retriever and performer. It’s origins can be dated back to antiquity. This dog is classified as one of the Non-Sporting Dog Group.
The Dalmatian was first Registered by the AKC (American Kennel Club) in 1888. This breed was immortalised in the animated Walt Disney movie - 101 Dalmatians.
